The A.'s argument starts from the premise that self-consciousness is a form, albeit particular and specific, of knowledge. It follows that, since knowledge passes through the categories of perception and perception is linked to the body, it is possible to hypothesise, by deduction, that also sexuation will play "its" role in the dimension of self-consciousness, as embodied consciousness and as linked to socio-cultural contexts, with respect to which the essential link between nature and culture is declined.
