Many valuable things in this third issue 2024 of Ricerca Psicoanalitica.
A focus on psychological consultation that, starting with a contribution by Silvia Bertoli and myself, makes use of the comments of Simona Montali, Annarita Viarengo and Linda Alfieri, Maria Carmela Abbruzzese and Enrico Vincenti and concludes with the authors' reply. A close dialogue that will certainly not end here but which already allows us to focus on the relevance and complexity of the consultation. A relevance that is not always recognised, and often even neglected in the training of psychotherapists, who often let stereotyped and reassuring procedures prevail instead of opening up to the encounter with the new that characterises consultation and makes it one of the most fascinating and dense clinical moments.[...]
