Elias Canetti pernsa that "everyone, really everyone, is at the centre of the world", and this year at the Festival of Literature, this thought of his was proposed to writers and intellectuals as a stimulus to discuss. Paolo Cozzaglio, Jungian psychiatrist and relationship psychoanalyst, is as if he had pertecipated, symbolically, in this debate: in fact, the direction in which his book Intersubjective Psychiatry goes is to put the subject of the world both the Patient as Subject and, at the same level of dignity, the therapist, also as subject. This difficult operation, on which the psychoanalytic literature has been confronted with passion since Ferenczi's time, is made possible by conceptualizing the subject not as circumscribed and isolated in individuality but as a participant and co-creator of a context of significant realizations from which and to which to attribute and take meaning.
