Quando venticinque anni fa, nel 1996, Salvatore Freni, Alessandra Gabrielli e io fondammo la sezione italiana della Society for Psychotherapy Research (SPR), non avevamo idea che la ricerca in psicoterapia si sarebbe diffusa così tanto in Italia, con la nascita di vari gruppi di lavoro, la pubblicazione di moltissimi articoli e libri, e un crescente entusiasmo e impegno da parte di tanti colleghi.
