The book under consideration here is a translation from the original German Kapitalismus is nicht das Problem, sondern die Lösung. In it, Rainer Zitelmann, PhD in history and sociology, approaches the topic of capitalism and anti-capitalism from an empirical-historical perspective. in other words, his aim is to examine what has worked and what has not worked in the adoption of pro-market economy measures or, conversely, economic planning in the same country (China, the UK, the US). in other words, his aim is to examine what has and has not worked in the adoption of pro-market economy measures or, conversely, economic planning in the same country (China, united Kingdom, uSA, Sweden), in different countries with the same history and culture (Chile and Venezuela, German Federal Republic and German Democratic Republic, South Korea and North Korea) and on the African continent.
